I don't know why I've ever labeled this as a "short" intro (it's from http://prowiki.org/wiki4d/wiki.cgi?D__Tutorial/D2Templates).
The irony is it's #1 on the long pages list http://dwiki.kimsufi.thecybershadow.net/Special:LongPages
It might be better to link to Ali's template chapters or the template book by Phillippe. Either way we might want to remove "short" in the title. :)
